I'm shook
I got micro needling and radio frequency there, within a few days I could see my skin texture and tightness improve, I'm shook at the results!! Not to mention she's a lovely person and so professional, can't wait to book my next treatment in.

First, find the cause The honest starting point.
Hair thins for many reasons: genetics, hormones, stress, pregnancy, iron or thyroid levels, illness or tight styles. Sudden shedding, patches or a sore scalp need a GP or dermatologist first, to rule out a medical cause. Our scalp treatments support the hair you have and the health of your scalp. They work best on early to moderate thinning, alongside any treatment your doctor recommends.
Are scalp treatments right for you? For early to moderate thinning.
You'll love it if
- Your parting or hairline looks wider than it used to.
- Your ponytail feels thinner and you see more hair in the brush.
- Your hair has thinned after stress or pregnancy and your doctor has ruled out a medical cause.
- You want to support your hair now, before it thins further.
Not right now if
- Your hair loss is sudden, patchy or comes with a sore, red or scaly scalp: see your GP first.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have a scalp infection or active skin condition on the scalp.
- PRP / PRF only: you have a blood or platelet disorder, take blood thinners, or are unwell.
- You have an allergy to any ingredient in the products (we share the ingredient list at consultation).
Not sure? Your 10-minute consultation is free and there is no pressure to book. This is general guidance, not medical advice.

Many clients combine two in one plan. We recommend one at consultation.
- You prefer nothing added, only your own blood: PRP / PRF.
- Hair feels weak and fine, early thinning: Dr. CYJ peptide hair filler or Derma Heal scalp mesotherapy.
- You want to avoid injections into the scalp: scalp exosomes, applied with microneedling.
Your appointment Calm, quick, little downtime.
Step 1 of 6
Consultation
We look at your scalp and hair, ask about your health, history and any tests from your doctor, and take baseline photos.
Your plan
Option, number of sessions and spacing agreed upfront, with clear course prices.
Prepare
Come with clean, dry hair, no styling products. For PRP / PRF, a small blood sample is taken in clinic and prepared while you wait.
Treatment
Small amounts are placed into the scalp with a fine needle, or the serum is applied during microneedling. You feel pressure and quick pricks.
Straight after
The scalp may feel tender or look a little pink. Most clients go straight back to their day.
Next session
Usually every 2 to 4 weeks during the course, then maintenance every few months.
Before and after your hair treatment A little prep, an easy recovery.
Before your appointment
- Do: Tell us about any hair-growth solution or tablets you use, and we will tell you whether to pause them.
- Avoid: No hair colour, bleach or perm.
- Avoid: PRP / PRF: pause aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E, if you take them yourself rather than on a doctor's advice.
- Avoid: No alcohol.
- Do: Come with clean, dry hair and no styling products.
- Do: PRP / PRF: eat a normal meal and drink plenty of water, as we take a small blood sample.

Hair loss questions Straight answers, before you book.
Does PRP for hair work?
It can help support early to moderate thinning in many people, especially as a course with maintenance. It does not work for everyone and cannot bring back hair where follicles are gone. We tell you honestly what to expect.
How much is PRP hair treatment in Dublin?
At Mirabell, PRP / PRF hair treatment starts from €150 per session. Scalp treatments start from €80 for Derma Heal scalp mesotherapy. Course prices are shown above.
How many PRP sessions do I need?
Usually 3 to 4 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart, then a maintenance session every 3 to 6 months. We plan it with you.
When will I see results?
Hair grows slowly, so changes usually show after 3 to 6 months. Less shedding is often the first sign. We compare with your baseline photos.
PRP or exosomes for hair: which is better?
PRP uses your own blood. Our scalp exosomes are a lab-made serum applied during microneedling, with no blood draw. Evidence for both is still growing. We help you choose at consultation.
Should I see a doctor first?
Yes, if your hair loss is sudden, patchy, or comes with a sore or scaly scalp, or if you have not had bloods checked. A GP or dermatologist can find medical causes. Our treatments work alongside that care.
Does it hurt?
Most clients feel pressure and quick pricks. The scalp can feel tender for a day or two.
