Ask MiraBooking and prices How booking works, in plain words.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. Our consultation is free, takes about 10 minutes and there is no pressure to book. We listen to what you want and tell you honestly which treatment suits you, or if none does.
How do I book an appointment?
Choose your treatment and a time online at any time, then secure it with a deposit through our secure checkout. Some treatments are paid in clinic with no deposit. You can also WhatsApp or call us on +353 85 186 5581.
Can I book lip filler without a consultation first?
Yes. Lip filler can be booked straight away, first time included, because the consultation happens at the start of your appointment, before we treat. If you are unsure, the free consultation is always there.
Do I need a consultation before my treatment?
For face contouring, skin boosters, semi-permanent makeup and device treatments for first-timers, we start with a consultation. Lip filler can be booked straight away, with the consultation at the start of the appointment. Facials, threading, lamination and lash lifts can be booked directly.
What is the difference between the free consultation and the Skin Consultation?
The free consultation is a 10-minute chat to choose the right treatment. The Skin Consultation, from €50, is a 30-minute assessment with our skin scanner and a written plan for your skin, routine and budget.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes, for most treatments. The deposit is usually €50, some treatments take €20, and consultations, threading, brow lamination, hybrid brow tint, lash lift and patch tests take none. The exact deposit always shows before you confirm.
Does the deposit come off the price?
Yes. Your deposit always comes off your final price, so it is not an extra charge.
Why is the deposit higher for lip blush and brows together?
Semi-permanent lips and brows in one visit is a 3 hour 30 minute appointment, so it takes a higher deposit than a single treatment. The deposit still comes off your final price.
Can I cancel or move my appointment?
Yes, free with at least 24 hours' notice: your deposit moves to the new date, or is refunded if you do not rebook. With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not come, the deposit is kept, with no extra fee.
How do I cancel or move my booking?
Use the link in your booking confirmation, or WhatsApp or call us on +353 85 186 5581. Please tell us at least 24 hours before your appointment so your deposit moves with you.
What if I am ill on the day of my appointment?
If you have a genuine medical reason, your first short-notice move is free. You do not have to tell us what the condition is.
What if the clinic has to cancel my appointment?
You choose: a new time that suits you, or a full refund of anything you paid.
What happens if I am late?
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may have to shorten your treatment or treat it as a missed appointment, so the next client is not kept waiting. If you are running late, message us on WhatsApp straight away.
How much do aesthetic treatments cost at Mirabell?
Prices start from €15, and every price on our site is live from our booking system. Each treatment page shows its own "from" price, and your exact price is confirmed with you before we start.
Why do some treatments show a price range?
The lower price is one session or the smallest amount, and the top of the range is usually a course or a larger amount. For example, Profhilo is €250 for one session or €680 for a course of 3.
Do you offer courses of treatment?
Yes. Many treatments can be booked as a course of sessions at a lower price per session, shown when you book. Courses are valid for 12 months from your first session, or 2 years for an IPL course of 8 and tattoo removal courses.
How do I pay for a course or package?
Half when you book, and half after your first session, in clinic or by a secure payment link. Your later sessions are booked at the end of each visit.
What if I start a course and stop early?
You only pay for what you had: completed sessions are charged at the single-session price and the balance is refunded. If you stop for a medical reason, sessions are charged at the package price instead.
What if I miss a session in my course?
With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not come, the deposit amount is charged, but you keep the session. It is not lost from your course.
How can I pay?
You pay your deposit online through our secure checkout, and the balance in clinic by card, cash or bank transfer. Card details are handled by the secure Wix checkout, never by us.
Can I use a discount code?
Yes, if you have one, enter it at checkout and the checkout shows whether it works. Questions about a code go to our team on WhatsApp.
Which health questions are asked when I book online?
None. Online you only choose your treatment, time and deposit. Your health and consent form is filled in with us in clinic before your treatment, and the team goes through it with you.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes, for some treatments: brow lamination, hybrid brow tint and lash lift (first visit, free), and IPL, IPL Face, carbon peel, tattoo removal and PMU removal. The patch test is at least 48 hours before, and without it the treatment cannot go ahead.
Do you offer refunds if I do not like my result?
A treatment cannot be refunded once it has been carried out, because results vary from person to person. If you are unhappy, our team looks at it with you, usually in person, and your statutory rights are not affected.
Do you treat under-18s?
No. Our treatments are for clients aged 18 and over; the only exception is when our practitioner considers a treatment suitable, with written consent from a parent or guardian, decided at a consultation. A young person cannot book online on her own, and we may ask for photo ID.
Do you treat men?
Yes. Men book IPL hair removal for the back, chest, belly, arms and underarms, jawline and chin contouring, and many of our facials, peels, skin and scalp treatments.
Safety in Ireland What Irish law says, and what to ask any clinic.
Who is allowed to inject dermal fillers in Ireland?
Ireland has no specific law yet on who may inject dermal fillers, which are regulated as medical devices. The Programme for Government 2025 commits to limiting injecting to trained healthcare professionals, so the rules may change.
Is Mirabell a doctor-led clinic?
No. Mirabell is led by Maria Belina, who has 11 years of experience in aesthetics and a BA in Aesthetics Cosmetology, and treatments are carried out by Maria or our small trained team. You are welcome to ask about training and experience at your consultation.
What does the HPRA say about dermal fillers?
The HPRA, Ireland's regulator for medical devices, checks that fillers sold in Ireland are safe, but does not regulate who injects them. It advises: no fillers under 18, ask about your practitioner's training, check where products come from and ask about aftercare.
How do I choose a safe aesthetics clinic in Dublin?
Choose a clinic with a real address, a consultation before any injectable, clear prices, genuine reviews and honest answers about who treats you. Red flags: treatments at parties or at home, prices far below the market, no health questions, no written aftercare and pressure to book today.
Where do your products come from?
We buy our fillers, skin boosters and skincare from authorised suppliers. We never buy from unofficial online sellers.
What questions should I ask before lip filler or skin boosters?
Ask who will treat you and what they are trained in, which product is used and where it comes from, how long it lasts, the side effects, and who you call if something feels wrong. A good clinic answers all of these without hesitation.
Will you ever tell me a treatment is not right for me?
Yes. If a treatment would not suit your face, skin or health, we tell you honestly and suggest something that does, or nothing at all.
What happens if something goes wrong after my treatment?
Call us straight away on +353 85 186 5581 if you notice unusual pain, swelling that gets worse, skin that turns white, grey or blue, or any sign of infection. Every client leaves with written aftercare and our number.
What if I cannot reach the clinic out of hours?
Keep trying a few times and WhatsApp the same number, but do not wait for a reply if it is getting worse. Contact your GP or go to the emergency department, and call 112 or 999 if it is severe.
Do I fill in a health form before treatment?
Yes. Before your first treatment you complete a health form and a consent form in clinic, and we go through it with you.
What should I tell you before my treatment?
Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a skin infection, cold sore or rash, an allergy, a bleeding disorder, an autoimmune condition, or take any medicine, because some need a wait first. Never stop a prescribed medicine without your doctor's advice.
Who should not have aesthetic treatments?
Most injectables, semi-permanent makeup, IPL, laser and strong peels are postponed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection or cold sore in the area, or take certain medicines. We check this at your consultation; this is general guidance, not medical advice.
Do you use numbing cream?
Yes, where it helps, such as for lip filler, lip blush, semi-permanent brows and skin boosters, with numbing or cooling chosen by the practitioner. Facials, threading and lash lifts do not need numbing.
Do you take before and after photos?
Yes, for your clinical record, so we can compare results over time. We only share a photo with your written consent, and every before and after we show is genuine and unedited.
Lips Filler for shape, lip blush for colour.
How much is lip filler in Dublin?
At Mirabell, lip filler starts from €170 for 0.5ml, with a consultation at the start of your appointment.
What is lip filler made of?
Our lip filler is a hyaluronic acid filler, placed precisely for soft volume, shape and symmetry. The appointment takes about 45 minutes.
How long does lip filler last?
Most lip filler results last 6 to 12 months. It depends on your metabolism, your lifestyle and the product, and a first treatment can fade a little faster.
0.5ml or 1ml lip filler: which should I choose?
0.5ml gives a subtle lift and suits most first-timers; 1ml gives a fuller look, from €240. We help you choose at your consultation, based on your lips and your face, not a number.
Can I have lip filler for the first time at Mirabell?
Yes. You can book it straight away, and most first-timers start with 0.5ml for a subtle, natural change.
Will my lips look natural?
That is the aim. We use sensible amounts, place filler precisely and build volume over time if you want more.
Does lip filler hurt?
Most clients feel pressure and a quick pinch, not pain. Numbing or cooling is used where suitable, and we work slowly and check in with you.
How long does lip filler swelling last?
Swelling is strongest on day 1 to 2 and settles over about two weeks, and some clients bruise. Book filler at least two weeks before a wedding, holiday or big event.
When will I see my final lip filler result?
At about two weeks, once the swelling has settled. Your lips can look bigger than the final result in the first days.
What is the aftercare for lip filler?
No lip products for 24 hours, and no alcohol, saunas, hot yoga or hard workouts for 24 to 48 hours. Avoid pressure on your lips for the first day and use a wrapped cold compress for swelling.
Can I kiss after lip filler?
Avoid pressure on your lips, such as kissing or drinking through a straw, for the first day. After that, be gentle while any swelling settles.
Does lip filler migrate?
It can, usually when lips are over-filled or filler is placed badly. We reduce that risk with sensible amounts, precise placement and building volume over time.
Is a review appointment included after lip filler?
Yes, if you would like one. We see you a few weeks after your treatment to check how your lips have settled, at no extra cost.
What is lip blush?
Lip blush is semi-permanent makeup for the lips: fine layers of pigment for soft colour and a clearer lip line, so you need less lipstick. At Mirabell it starts from €300.
What are Ombre Lips and Rubin Lips?
Ombre Lips, from €300, gives soft colour that is deeper at the edge for a fuller look. Rubin Lips, from €300, is our signature lip blush with a soft ruby glow.
How long does lip blush last?
Lip blush usually lasts 1 to 3 years. Sun, oily skin and your immune system fade colour faster, and a refresh every 12 to 18 months keeps lips fresh.
How long does a lip blush appointment take?
About 1 hour 45 minutes, including numbing, design and colour matching.
Does lip blush hurt more than lip filler?
It feels different: lip blush feels like light scratching over a longer time, filler like pressure for a shorter time. Numbing keeps most clients comfortable.
Is the lip blush or brows touch-up included in the price?
No. The touch-up 6 to 8 weeks after your first session is booked and paid separately, from €80, and perfects the colour once your skin has healed.
How long does lip blush take to heal?
Lips flake from about day 3 to 7, and the colour looks strong first, then fades, then comes back softer. Your true healed colour shows at about 4 to 6 weeks.
What is lip neutralisation?
Lip neutralisation is a lip blush technique for lips that are dark, purple or cool-toned. It evens out the tone gradually, usually over 2 to 3 sessions, from €300.
Lip neutralisation or lip blush: which do I need?
Lip blush adds colour to lips that are pale or uneven. Neutralisation corrects lips that are dark or cool-toned, and we tell you which suits you at your free consultation.
Lip filler or lip blush: which do I need?
Lip filler adds volume and shape; lip blush adds colour and definition. If you want fuller lips choose filler, and if you want colour without lipstick choose lip blush.
Can I have lip filler and lip blush?
Yes. We usually do lip blush first, then filler once it has fully healed, about 4 to 6 weeks later; if you already have filler, we wait at least 4 weeks before lip blush.
Can I have lip blush and brows on the same day?
Yes. Semi-permanent lips and brows together is one appointment of about 3 hours 30 minutes, from €500.
Can I have lip blush if I get cold sores?
Yes, with care. Lip blush can trigger a cold sore, so speak to your GP or pharmacist before your appointment, and never book with an active cold sore.
Brows and lashes From threading to semi-permanent brows.
How long do semi-permanent brows last?
Semi-permanent brows usually last 1 to 3 years. Oily skin, sun and some skincare fade them faster, and a refresh every 12 to 18 months keeps them sharp.
How much are semi-permanent eyebrows in Dublin?
At Mirabell, semi-permanent brows start from €300, for nano strokes, combo or cloud brows. The touch-up 6 to 8 weeks later is paid separately, from €80.
What are nano strokes brows?
Nano strokes place pigment in ultra-fine, hair-like strokes with a very fine needle on a machine. It is gentle on the skin, heals softly and gives the most natural, hair-like brow, from €300.
What are cloud brows?
Cloud brows are our signature powder brow: soft, filled-in colour like a light brow powder. They suit oily skin, from €300.
Combo, cloud or nano brows: which suits me?
Nano strokes suit dry or normal skin and a natural look, cloud brows suit oily skin and a soft made-up look, and combo brows mix hair strokes at the front with shading through the tail. We recommend a style at your consultation.
How long does a semi-permanent brow appointment take?
About 1 hour 30 minutes for nano strokes or cloud brows, and about 2 hours for combo brows.
What is the healing process for semi-permanent brows?
Brows look darker and sharper for about a week, then lightly flake, and in weeks 2 to 3 the colour can look patchy, which is normal. Your healed brows show at 4 to 6 weeks.
Do I need a touch-up after semi-permanent brows?
Yes. A touch-up 6 to 8 weeks after your first session perfects the shape and colour, booked and paid separately, from €80.
Do semi-permanent brows hurt?
Most clients rate it low. Numbing cream goes on first, and we check in with you throughout.
Wet or dry healing for brows?
Both work, and we tell you which suits your skin. Either way: no picking, and no gym, saunas or swimming for 7 to 10 days.
Can you tattoo brows that are thin or have fallen out?
Often, yes: brows can be tattooed back where hair is thin or has been lost. We check your skin and health history at a free consultation first.
Can you fix old or badly done brows?
Often, yes. Old, faded, red or misplaced brow tattoo can be lightened with laser, usually over 2 to 4 sessions, from €80, and then new brows can be done.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination lifts and sets your own brow hairs into a fuller, brushed-up shape, in about 40 minutes, from €50. It is paid in clinic.
How long does brow lamination last?
Brow lamination usually lasts 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your hair growth and aftercare. Keep brows dry for 24 hours afterwards.
What is a hybrid brow tint, and how long does it last?
A hybrid brow tint tints the hairs and the skin under them for a fuller brow, shape included, in about 30 minutes, from €40. It usually lasts up to 2 weeks on the skin and 4 to 6 weeks on the hairs.
How long does a lash lift last?
A lash lift usually lasts 6 to 8 weeks. It curls your own lashes from the root in about 45 minutes, from €55.
Do you do lash extensions?
No. We do lash lifts, which curl your own lashes with no glue and no infills.
Do I need a patch test for tint, lamination or a lash lift?
Yes, before your first visit. The patch test is free, takes about 5 minutes and is done at least 48 hours before.
Is threading better than waxing?
For brows, upper lip and chin, many women prefer threading: no wax, heat or chemicals touch the skin, and it suits sensitive skin. Brow threading starts from €15, paid in clinic.
How long does threading take?
About 10 minutes. We thread brows, the upper lip, from €15, and the chin, from €15, all paid in clinic.
Skin and facials Facials, peels, microneedling and light.
Which facial is best for me?
It depends on your skin: a hydrofacial suits most skin for a quick glow, peels target pigmentation and acne marks, and microneedling targets texture and scars. If you are not sure, the Skin Consultation, from €50, gives you a clear plan.
How much is a hydrofacial in Dublin?
At Mirabell, a hydrofacial starts from €100 for about 75 minutes. In Dublin, a hydrofacial usually costs about €75 to €170 per session.
Is a hydrofacial worth it?
For a fast, visible glow with no downtime, yes: it cleanses pores, gently exfoliates and hydrates in one treatment. It will not remove deep scars or strong pigmentation; a peel or microneedling does more for those.
Is your hydrofacial a branded machine treatment?
No. Ours is a hydradermabrasion facial on a professional system, with the same steps: cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate.
Does a hydrofacial hurt?
No. Most clients find it relaxing, and the suction feels like a cool, gentle pull.
How often should I have a hydrofacial?
Every 4 to 6 weeks keeps the results going. Before an event, book it 2 to 3 days ahead.
I use retinol or had a peel. When can I book a hydrofacial?
As a general guide, stop retinoids 2 to 3 days before, and wait about 2 weeks after a chemical peel, microneedling or laser.
Hydrofacial or chemical peel: which should I choose?
A hydrofacial is gentle upkeep with no downtime. A chemical peel goes deeper for pigmentation, acne marks and texture, and many women book a hydrofacial in between peels.
What is the Glow Facial?
The Glow Facial is a 45-minute facial for tired, dull skin, from €80.
What is an oxygenating facial?
Our Oxygenating Facial gently exfoliates and infuses active ingredients for dull, tired skin. It suits all skin types, takes about 60 minutes and has no downtime, from €100.
What is the Medik8 Crystal Retinal facial?
It is a professional facial built around retinal, a form of vitamin A, to soften fine lines, even tone and refine texture. It takes about 60 minutes, from €120.
Which treatment is best for acne?
For active, congested or breakout-prone skin, we usually start with the Acne Therapy Facial, from €120, or KRX Infla Cure PDT. We do not promise a cure, and for severe or painful acne please see your GP or a dermatologist too.
What are KRX Korean treatments?
KRX treatments are professional Korean skin protocols, each for one concern: Infla Cure PDT for breakouts, Express Flooding for oily skin, V-Grape for tired skin and the Premium Protocol for firmer-looking skin with no needles. They start from €80.
How much is a chemical peel in Dublin?
At Mirabell, chemical peels start from €90 per session, Medik8 peels from €100 and BioRePeel from €100. Lower prices per session apply when you book a course.
Will my skin peel after a chemical peel?
Often only a little, or not at all. Gentle peels may show no flaking, and stronger ones can flake lightly for 2 to 5 days.
How many chemical peels do I need?
Usually a course of 3 to 6, 2 to 4 weeks apart, then maintenance every month or two. One peel brightens; a course makes the real change.
Can I have a peel if I have sensitive skin?
Often, yes. The Medik8 Universal/Sensitive Peel is made for sensitive and first-time skin; tell us about any past reactions at consultation.
Can peels help acne?
They can help clear congestion and improve the look of acne marks over a course, but they do not cure acne. For ongoing breakouts, our Acne Therapy Facial may suit you better.
What is BioRePeel?
BioRePeel is a two-phase peel for texture, tone, pigmentation and acne marks with little visible peeling, so most clients go back to their day straight away. It starts from €100, and can be combined with microneedling.
Is a carbon peel a laser treatment?
Yes. A carbon mask goes on the skin and a laser lifts it away, with no acids, for oily skin and enlarged pores. A patch test, €20, is needed 48 hours before and comes off your first session within 30 days.
How much is microneedling in Dublin?
At Mirabell, microneedling starts from €120 per session and RF microneedling from €170. Lower prices per session apply when you book a course.
Microneedling or RF microneedling: which is better?
Neither is better, they do different jobs. Classic microneedling suits texture, pores and glow, while RF adds heat deeper in the skin for acne scars and firmness.
How many microneedling sessions do I need?
Usually 3 to 6 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart, depending on your skin and goal. Acne scars usually need more sessions than glow.
Does microneedling help acne scars?
It can soften the look of many acne scars over a course, especially RF microneedling. Deep scars improve but rarely disappear, and we tell you honestly what to expect.
What is the downtime after microneedling?
Skin is pink, like mild sunburn, for 1 to 3 days. No make-up for 24 hours, no gym or saunas for 48 hours and strict daily SPF; most women go back to work the next day.
Does microneedling hurt?
Numbing cream keeps it comfortable. Most clients feel vibration and light scratching, strongest over bony areas such as the forehead.
Are exosomes injected?
No. At Mirabell, exosomes are always applied to the skin as a serum during microneedling, never injected, for Exosomes + Microneedling, the Medik8 Exo-PDRN facial and Scalp Exosomes.
What does radiofrequency skin tightening do?
Radiofrequency gently warms the deeper layers of your skin to support your own collagen, so skin looks firmer over a course of sessions. It is comfortable, needs no downtime and starts from €80.
Is IPL good for pigmentation and redness on the face?
IPL Face can soften sun spots, uneven pigmentation and visible redness on lighter skin types, usually over a course. It is not suitable for every skin tone, so a patch test 48 hours before is required.
Skin boosters Better skin, not a different face.
What are skin boosters?
Skin boosters are fine injectable treatments, usually based on hyaluronic acid, that improve hydration, firmness and glow. They improve skin quality and do not add volume, so you still look like you, only fresher.
Which skin booster is right for me?
Profhilo and Ejal 40 suit skin losing firmness, Vitaran polynucleotides suit thin or tired skin, and NCTF and Electri Hyalual suit dull, dehydrated skin. We offer more than ten boosters and match one to your skin at your free consultation.
How much is Profhilo in Dublin?
At Mirabell, Profhilo is €250 for one session, or €680 for a course of 3 sessions about four weeks apart. We confirm what your skin needs at your free consultation.
How long does Profhilo take to work, and how long does it last?
Results build over 4 to 8 weeks after your course and typically last about 6 months. Most clients then top up once or twice a year.
Profhilo or polynucleotides: which is better?
Neither is better, they do different jobs: Profhilo hydrates deeply and helps lax skin look firmer, while polynucleotides support repair in thin, crepey or tired skin, especially under the eyes. Many women combine the two over a year.
What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are injectable skin treatments made from purified fish DNA that support repair in thin, tired skin; we use Vitaran, from €200 for the face. They are not suitable if you have a fish or seafood allergy.
How many polynucleotide sessions do I need?
Usually 3 sessions, 2 to 3 weeks apart, then a top-up every 6 to 9 months. We plan it with you at consultation.
When will I see results from polynucleotides?
Some women see brighter skin after the first session, but the real change builds over 6 to 8 weeks after the course. Results vary from person to person.
How many skin booster sessions do I need?
Most boosters work best as a course of 2 to 3 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart, then a top-up every 6 to 12 months. Electri Hyalual is often chosen as a single-session refresh.
Do skin boosters hurt?
Most clients feel quick pinches. Numbing cream keeps you comfortable, and the appointment takes about 50 minutes.
What are the side effects of skin boosters?
Small bumps for 24 to 48 hours are normal, with mild redness and sometimes bruising. Plan boosters at least a week before a big event, and avoid make-up, alcohol, saunas and hard workouts for 24 hours.
When can I wear make-up or have a facial after skin boosters?
Most clients wait 24 hours before make-up, 2 to 3 days before retinol or acids, and about 2 weeks before facials, peels or laser on the same area.
Can skin boosters treat the neck and décolleté?
Yes, some can. Aquashine PTX and NCTF are often used on the neck and décolleté as well as the face.
What is collagen mesotherapy?
Collagen mesotherapy delivers collagen-supporting ingredients into the skin to improve firmness and elasticity, for early signs of ageing. It starts from €100 and works best as a course.
What helps fine lines and wrinkles?
It depends on the type of line: fine lines and crepey skin respond well to skin boosters, polynucleotides, microneedling, peels and retinal skincare, usually as a course. Lines from expression can also be helped by prescription-only treatments, available in Ireland only after an in-person assessment with a doctor or other registered prescriber.
How can I slow down new fine lines?
Daily SPF 30 to 50 is the best way to slow new lines. Retinal skincare and a course of skin boosters or microneedling help the skin you have now.
Contour and under-eyes Balance, structure and fresher eyes.
How much is cheek, chin or jawline filler in Dublin?
At Mirabell, chin filler (1ml) starts from €200, cheek filler (2ml) from €400, jawline contouring (2ml) from €400 and full face contouring (5ml) from €800. Every plan starts with a consultation.
How long does cheek, chin or jawline filler last?
Contouring filler typically lasts 9 to 15 months, depending on the area, your metabolism and your lifestyle. Collagen-stimulating treatments usually last longer.
How much filler do I need for my jawline?
Most women need about 2ml for a visible but natural change, and some need more over two appointments. We tell you honestly at consultation.
Will contouring look natural?
That is the aim. We build definition gradually and keep your proportions, and if something would not suit your face, we tell you.
Does cheek, chin or jawline filler hurt?
Most clients feel pressure and some tenderness. Numbing cream goes on first, and we work slowly and check in with you.
What is the swelling like after contouring?
Mild swelling and tenderness for 2 to 7 days, sometimes bruising. Book at least two weeks before a big event.
What is full face contouring?
Full face contouring treats several areas in one plan, usually cheeks, jawline and chin, to balance your proportions rather than change one feature. It uses about 5ml of hyaluronic acid filler and takes about 60 minutes.
What is the difference between a filler and a collagen stimulator?
A filler adds shape straight away, while a collagen stimulator encourages your skin to build its own collagen, so the result builds over months. We offer Radiesse, from €500, which also gives some structure on the day, and PLLA, from €400.
How quickly does PLLA work?
PLLA gives no instant volume: it helps your skin build collagen over a course, so the result appears gradually over a few months. It suits women who want a slow, natural change.
What is a PRP or PRF facial?
A PRP or PRF facial uses your own plasma to refresh skin quality and texture: a small blood sample is taken in clinic, spun, and placed back into the skin. It starts from €200 and works best as a course.
Is contouring suitable for men?
Yes. Jawline and chin contouring are popular with men who want a stronger profile, with the same consultation first.
What is the best treatment for tired-looking eyes?
It depends on why they look tired: for thin, crepey skin, Vitaran polynucleotides are our most popular choice, and for dryness, RRS HA eye mesotherapy. We choose with you at consultation.
Can you get rid of dark circles?
We can often make them look lighter by improving the skin, but genetic pigmentation and deep shadows rarely disappear fully. We are honest about what is realistic for you.
How much is under-eye treatment in Dublin?
At Mirabell, under-eye treatments start from €80 per session, with polynucleotides from €150. Lower prices per session apply when you book a course.
How many under-eye sessions do I need?
Usually 2 to 4 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart, then a top-up once or twice a year.
Will I bruise after under-eye treatment?
Some women do, because the skin is so thin. Small bumps and any bruising usually settle in 1 to 3 days, so book at least a week before a big event.
What is PRP or PRF under the eyes?
A small blood sample is taken in clinic and spun to separate the platelet-rich part, which is then placed under the skin. Nothing is added from outside your body, from €150.
What is Collaju?
Collaju is a collagen booster for thin under-eye skin, made from purified type I animal collagen, from €250. It does not add volume, and you should tell us about any allergy, especially to collagen or animal protein.
Which under-eye treatment is right for me?
Vitaran polynucleotides suit thin, crepey skin, RRS HA eye mesotherapy suits dryness and fine lines, PRP or PRF suits women who prefer their own plasma, and Collaju suits skin losing firmness. Most clients need a course, chosen with you at consultation.
IPL hair removal Long-term hair reduction, honestly explained.
Is IPL the same as laser hair removal?
No. Laser uses one exact wavelength of light, while IPL (intense pulsed light) uses a broad, filtered band; both heat the hair follicle so hair grows back finer and slower. Mirabell uses IPL, which works very well on dark hair with lighter skin, and if laser would suit you better, we tell you honestly.
Does IPL hair removal work?
Yes, on the right hair. Most clients see less hair from session three and long-term reduction after a full course, and it works best on dark hair and lighter skin.
Is IPL hair removal permanent?
No treatment can promise every hair is gone forever. IPL gives long-term hair reduction: after a full course, hair grows back much less, finer and lighter, and occasional top-ups keep you smooth.
How much is IPL hair removal in Dublin?
At Mirabell, IPL starts from €30 per session for the face, with 12 areas for women and men and lower prices per session on a course. The patch test, €20, comes off your first session if you book within 30 days.
Is there a course price for IPL?
Yes. Most areas can be booked as a course of 6 or 8 sessions at a lower price per session, and the course of 8 is valid for 2 years.
How many IPL sessions do I need?
Usually 6 to 8 sessions per area: the face every 4 to 6 weeks and the body every 6 to 8 weeks. Face and hormonal areas such as the chin can need more, plus occasional top-ups.
Do I need a patch test before IPL?
Yes. The IPL patch test is at least 48 hours before your first session, from €20, and comes off your first session if you book within 30 days.
Which IPL areas do you treat for women?
Face, underarms, bikini, arms, legs and full body, from €30 per session.
Which IPL areas do you treat for men?
Underarms, belly, chest, arms, back, or the full upper body in one visit, from €40. The same rules apply: patch test first, then a course.
Does IPL work on blonde, red or grey hair?
Little or not at all, because IPL needs dark pigment in the hair. We tell you honestly at your patch test, before you pay for a course.
Is IPL safe for darker skin?
IPL is limited on darker and tanned skin, because the light can target pigment in the skin as well as the hair. Your patch test checks how your skin responds, and if IPL is not right for your skin tone, we say so.
Does IPL hurt?
Most clients compare it to a warm elastic band snapping on the skin. Cooling gel keeps it comfortable, and the bikini and upper lip feel strongest.
Do I shave before IPL?
Yes, shave the area 24 hours before. Do not wax, pluck or epilate for about 4 weeks before or during your course, because IPL needs the hair root in place.
Can I tan before or after IPL?
No. Avoid sun, sunbeds and fake tan for 2 weeks before and after each session, and wear SPF 50 on treated skin, because tanned skin raises the risk of burns.
What is the aftercare for IPL?
Wear SPF 50 on treated skin, keep out of strong sun and sunbeds for 2 weeks, and skip the gym for 24 to 48 hours.
What is the best time of year to start IPL?
Autumn and winter, because your skin sees less sun and stays untanned between sessions. Start in September or October and most of your course is done before summer.
Body, hair and tattoo Tattoo removal, body skin and scalp.
How does tattoo removal work?
A laser breaks tattoo ink into tiny particles, which your body clears away gradually over weeks, so the tattoo fades a little more with each session. A patch test 48 hours before is required, and larger tattoos are assessed at that appointment.
How much is tattoo removal in Dublin?
At Mirabell, laser tattoo removal starts from €50 per session, depending on the size. The size is confirmed at your patch test, €20, which comes off your first session within 30 days.
Is there a course price for tattoo removal?
Yes: a course of 6 sessions for the price of 5, or 10 for the price of 8, per tattoo size. Tattoo removal courses are valid for 2 years.
How many sessions does tattoo removal take?
Usually 6 to 12 sessions, sometimes more, 6 to 8 weeks apart, depending on the colours, depth, age and size of the ink. Black ink usually fades best, and lightening for a cover-up often takes fewer.
Can every tattoo be removed completely?
Not always. Many tattoos fade until they are hard to see, but some colours and very dense ink may leave a faint shadow, and we are honest about this at your patch test.
Does tattoo removal hurt?
Most clients compare it to hot snaps of an elastic band. Sessions are quick, often a few minutes of laser time, with numbing or cooling where suitable.
Will tattoo removal leave a scar?
Scarring is uncommon when the skin is treated with care and given time to heal. Picking scabs, popping blisters or treating too often raises the risk.
Can you lighten a tattoo for a cover-up?
Yes. A few sessions can lighten old ink enough for your tattoo artist to cover it cleanly; tell us the plan and we work with it.
Can you remove eyebrow tattoo or old permanent makeup?
Yes. PMU correction and removal uses a laser to lighten old or unwanted brow and lip pigment, usually over 2 to 4 sessions, from €80.
Can you remove old microblading?
Yes, in most cases it can be lightened with laser, and most clients want it light enough for new brows rather than fully gone. We check your pigment at a patch test first.
Can all permanent makeup colours be removed?
Dark and cool shades usually respond best. Some warm, light or skin-tone pigments can react unpredictably, which is why we patch test first.
When can I get new brows after PMU removal?
Once the old pigment is light enough and your skin has healed, usually 6 to 8 weeks after your last session.
What does RF microneedling do for the body?
It combines microneedling with radiofrequency heat to improve the look of loose skin, stretch marks and texture on areas such as the tummy, thighs and arms. It works over a course, from €150.
Do fat dissolving injections work?
For a small, stubborn pocket of fat, such as under the chin, they can help over several sessions. They are not a weight-loss treatment, results vary, and we start with a free consultation.
→ [Fat dissolving](/clinic/fat-dissolving)
How many fat dissolving sessions will I need?
Usually 2 to 4 sessions, about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Some areas need more, and some people see less change than others.
→ [Fat dissolving](/clinic/fat-dissolving)
What are the side effects of fat dissolving?
Swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising are common for 2 to 7 days, and swelling under the chin can be noticeable. We explain every side effect at your consultation.
→ [Fat dissolving](/clinic/fat-dissolving)
Can fat dissolving help a double chin?
It can help when the fullness is a small pocket of fat. If it is mostly loose skin or your jaw shape, we suggest something else, such as chin or jawline contouring.
→ [Fat dissolving](/clinic/fat-dissolving)
Will the fat come back after fat dissolving?
The treated area usually stays improved while your weight is stable. Weight gain can still add fat to the area and around it.

Does PRP work for hair loss?
PRP can help support early to moderate thinning, as a course with maintenance, but it does not work for everyone and cannot bring back hair where follicles are gone. PRP and PRF hair treatment starts from €150.
How many PRP hair sessions do I need?
Usually 3 to 4 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart, then a maintenance session every 3 to 6 months.
When will I see results from hair treatments?
Hair grows slowly, so changes usually show after 3 to 6 months, and less shedding is often the first sign. We compare with your baseline photos.
PRP, exosomes or mesotherapy for thinning hair: what is the difference?
PRP uses plasma from your own blood, Scalp Exosomes is a serum applied with microneedling and never injected, and Derma Heal and Dr. CYJ deliver vitamins, peptides and hyaluronic acid to the scalp. We recommend one at consultation, often as a course.
Does scalp treatment hurt?
Most clients feel pressure and quick pricks. The scalp can feel tender for a day or two.
Should I see a doctor about hair loss first?
Yes, if your hair loss is sudden, patchy, painful or comes with a sore or scaly scalp. Your GP or a dermatologist can check for medical causes, and our scalp treatments work alongside that care.
Timing and pregnancy Plan it right and enjoy the result.
How far before my wedding should I book treatments?
Start IPL 6 to 12 months before, semi-permanent brows or lip blush 3 months before, a skin booster course 2 to 3 months before, lip filler at least 2 to 4 weeks before and a hydrofacial 2 to 3 days before. A free consultation plans it with you.
Can I have a treatment before a holiday?
Yes, with the right gap: allow at least 2 weeks after semi-permanent makeup, IPL, laser, peels or microneedling before strong sun, swimming or sunbeds, and 48 hours after filler before you fly. A hydrofacial or lash lift is fine a few days before you go.
Can I fly after lip filler?
We suggest waiting at least 48 hours, and ideally a week. Swelling can be stronger in the first days, and you want to be close to the clinic in case you have a question.
How soon can I go in the sun after a treatment?
After facials and skin boosters, use SPF 50 and avoid strong sun for a few days. After IPL, laser, peels, microneedling and semi-permanent makeup, avoid direct sun, sunbeds and fake tan for 2 weeks.
Can I go to the gym after my treatment?
After filler and skin boosters, skip hard workouts for 24 to 48 hours. After semi-permanent makeup, avoid heavy sweating for 7 to 10 days, and after IPL and microneedling, wait 24 to 48 hours.
Can I drink alcohol after filler or skin boosters?
Avoid alcohol for 24 to 48 hours after lip filler and for 24 hours after skin boosters, because it can add to swelling and bruising.
When can I swim after semi-permanent makeup?
Wait 7 to 10 days. No swimming, saunas or gym while your brows or lips heal, and no strong sun for 2 weeks.
When can I wear make-up after my treatment?
After skin boosters and microneedling, wait 24 hours. After semi-permanent makeup, keep make-up off the treated area while it heals, as shown in your written aftercare.
Can I have a treatment with a cold sore?
Not in the treated area. Never book lip blush, lip filler or a facial treatment over an active cold sore; move your appointment with 24 hours' notice and your deposit moves with you.
Can I have aesthetic treatments while pregnant?
No. We do not offer any treatments during pregnancy, facials, brows and lashes included. We look forward to seeing you after your baby arrives. While breastfeeding, gentle facials, threading, brows and lashes are possible. This is general information, not medical advice.
Can I have a facial while pregnant?
Not during pregnancy: we pause all treatments, facials included, until after your baby arrives. While breastfeeding, a gentle facial without strong acids or retinoids is possible. Tell us first, and the team decides what suits you.
Can I have treatments while breastfeeding?
While breastfeeding we offer gentle facials, threading, brows and lashes only. Injectables, laser and light treatments, semi-permanent makeup, peels and microneedling wait until you have stopped breastfeeding.
Can I have my brows or lashes done while pregnant?
Not during pregnancy: we pause all treatments until after your baby arrives. While breastfeeding, threading, lash lift, brow lamination and hybrid tint are possible, with a new patch test first, because hormones can change how hair and skin react.
What if I get pregnant during a course?
Your course or package can be paused and the time added back, so you lose nothing.
Can I combine treatments in one visit?
Often, yes: a peel with microneedling, or brows with lip blush, work well together. Others need a gap, such as lip filler and lip blush, about 4 weeks apart.
Which treatments suit skin of colour?
Many do: lip neutralisation is designed for darker lips, semi-permanent makeup pigments are matched to your tone, and many facials and skin boosters suit every tone. IPL and some peels need extra care on deeper skin, so a patch test or consultation comes first.
Which medicines affect my treatment?
Tell us about every medicine, including isotretinoin in the last 6 months, blood thinners and anything that makes skin sensitive to light, because some mean waiting first. Never stop a prescribed medicine without your doctor's advice.
How do I make my results last?
Wear SPF 30 to 50 every day, follow your written aftercare, and book top-ups on time. Sun is the main reason semi-permanent makeup and skin results fade faster.
When should I book my next session?
IPL every 4 to 8 weeks depending on the area, skin boosters every 2 to 4 weeks during a course, hydrofacials every 4 to 6 weeks, and a semi-permanent makeup touch-up 6 to 8 weeks after your first session. Book your next session before you leave the clinic.

What if the treatment costs more or less than my voucher?

Can a voucher be used for a treatment that needs a consultation?
Yes. She starts with a free consultation, and the voucher goes towards the treatment that suits her, or another one if that is not right.
Can I change the name on a voucher?
Yes, name changes are free. Anyone with the code can use it, so keep it safe.
Can I get a refund on a gift voucher?
