I'm shook
I got micro needling and radio frequency there, within a few days I could see my skin texture and tightness improve, I'm shook at the results!! Not to mention she's a lovely person and so professional, can't wait to book my next treatment in.

Correction or removal? Two goals, one honest plan.
Correction means lightening an old tattoo enough that new semi-permanent brows or lip blush can be placed over it with a clean, even result. It usually takes fewer sessions.
Removal means fading the pigment as far as your skin allows, so you can go back to your natural brows or lips. It usually takes more sessions, and some faint shadow can remain.
Most women want correction: their brows were too dark, too warm, too thick or in the wrong place. We plan the number of sessions with you at your patch test.
Is PMU removal right for you? The honest checklist.
You'll love it if
- Your old brows have turned grey, blue, red or orange.
- Your brows are too dark, too thick or the shape never suited you.
- You want new semi-permanent brows, but the old work is in the way.
- Your lip tattoo has healed patchy or the colour no longer suits you.
Not right now if
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- The area is sunburnt, tanned or has an active infection or cold sore.
- Your PMU is less than about 6 to 8 weeks old and still healing.
- You take medication that makes skin sensitive to light, or you have taken isotretinoin in the last 6 months.
- You form keloid or raised scars easily: tell us at your patch test.
Not sure? Your 10-minute consultation is free and there is no pressure to book. This is general guidance, not medical advice.

Step 1 of 7
Patch test
10 minutes, at least 48 hours before your first session. We test a small spot, look at the pigment and estimate how many sessions you may need.
Your plan
Correction or removal, the number of sessions and the spacing, agreed before you start.
Protection
Your eyes are protected with shields or glasses. The area is cleansed.
Treatment
Short laser pulses break the pigment into smaller pieces. It feels like quick, hot snaps. A brow session takes about 20 minutes.
Straight after
Redness, swelling and sometimes a little frosting or pinpoint bleeding. It settles within a day or two.
Heal and repeat
Your body clears the pigment over the next weeks. Sessions are usually 6 to 8 weeks apart.
New work
When the old pigment is light enough, you can book new semi-permanent brows or lip blush, usually 6 to 8 weeks after your last removal session.
Before and after PMU removal A little prep, an easy recovery.
Before your appointment
- Do: Tell us about any new medicine or supplement since your patch test, as some make skin more sensitive to light.
- Avoid: No sun, sunbeds or fake tan on the area.
- Avoid: No tinting, waxing or threading on the area.
- Do: Lips: if you get cold sores, ask your GP or pharmacist about antiviral cover before each session.
- Do: Come with clean skin and no make-up, brow pencil or lipstick on the area.
- Avoid: Do not put numbing cream on at home unless we have agreed it with you.

PMU removal questions Straight answers, before you book.
Can you remove old eyebrow tattoo or microblading?
Yes, in most cases it can be lightened with laser. Most clients want it light enough for new brows rather than fully gone. We check your pigment at a patch test first.
How many sessions does PMU removal take?
Correction often takes 2 to 4 sessions, full removal usually more. It depends on the colour, how deep the pigment sits and your skin. Sessions are usually 6 to 8 weeks apart.
Does PMU laser removal hurt?
Most clients describe quick, hot snaps. A brow session takes about 20 minutes, so it is over quickly.
Can all colours be removed?
Dark and cool shades usually respond best. Some warm, light or skin-tone pigments can react unpredictably, which is exactly why we patch test first.
Can I get new brows after removal?
Yes. Once the old pigment is light enough and your skin has healed, usually 6 to 8 weeks after your last session, you can book new semi-permanent brows.
How much is PMU removal in Dublin?
At Mirabell, PMU correction and removal starts from €80 per session, plus a €20 patch test that comes off your first session if booked within 30 days.
Will it leave a scar?
Scarring is rare when the skin is treated gently and given time to heal. Picking scabs or treating too often raises the risk, so follow your aftercare and the spacing we give you.
