Lip blush options Three ways to wear colour.
Loved by women In their own words.
I'm shook
I got micro needling and radio frequency there, within a few days I could see my skin texture and tightness improve, I'm shook at the results!! Not to mention she's a lovely person and so professional, can't wait to book my next treatment in.

Is lip blush right for you? For women done with lipstick.
You'll love it if
- Your natural lip colour is pale, patchy or fading.
- Your lip line has softened and lipstick bleeds or wears off by lunch.
- Your lips are darker or cooler in tone than you would like (lip neutralisation).
- You want to wake up, swim and train looking polished.
Not right now if
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have an active cold sore. If you get them, ask your GP or pharmacist about antiviral tablets before treatment.
- You have had lip filler in the last 4 weeks. Filler needs to settle before lip blush.
- You have taken isotretinoin (for acne) in the last 6 months, or take medication that affects healing or bleeding, such as blood thinners. Tell us at consultation.
- You have a skin condition, infection or broken skin on or around the lips.

Step 1 of 6
Consultation
We check your lips, your skin tone and your health history, and ask how you wear colour now.
Shape and colour
We map a lip line that suits your face and mix a shade matched to your natural tone. Nothing starts until you love it.
Numbing
Numbing cream goes on so you stay comfortable.
Colour
Fine layers of pigment are placed with a gentle machine. Most clients describe a light scratching feeling.
First look
Colour looks bright and strong at first. That is normal. It softens as it heals.
Touch-up
You come back after 6 to 8 weeks to perfect how the pigment has settled. The touch-up is booked and paid separately.
Before and after lip blush A little prep, an easy recovery.
Before your appointment
- Do: If you have ever had a cold sore, ask your GP or pharmacist about antiviral tablets well before your appointment, as lip tattooing can trigger one.
- Avoid: Pause aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E, unless a doctor told you to take them.
- Do: Use a plain lip balm every day, so your lips are soft and not dry or cracked.
- Avoid: No lip scrubs or exfoliating lip products.
- Avoid: No alcohol.
- Avoid: Go easy on coffee and energy drinks if they make you jittery.

Lip blush questions Straight answers, before you book.
How long does lip blush last?
Usually 1 to 3 years. Sun, oily skin and your immune system fade colour faster. A colour refresh every 12 to 18 months keeps lips looking fresh.
How much is lip blush at Mirabell?
Lip blush starts from €300. Prices for each style are shown live above. The first touch-up is booked and paid separately, from €80.
Does lip blush hurt more than lip filler?
It feels different. Lip blush feels like light scratching over a longer time, filler feels like pressure for a shorter time. We use numbing cream, which keeps most clients comfortable.
How long does lip blush take to heal?
Lips flake from day 3 to 7. Colour looks strong first, then fades, then comes back softer. Your true colour shows at about 4 to 6 weeks.
Lip neutralisation or lip blush: which do I need?
Lip blush adds colour to lips that are pale or uneven. Neutralisation corrects lips that are dark or cool-toned, and usually needs 2 to 3 sessions. We will tell you which suits your lips at your free consultation.
Can I have lip blush if I get cold sores?
Yes, with care. Treatment can trigger a cold sore, so speak to your GP or pharmacist about antiviral tablets before your appointment. Never book with an active cold sore.
Do I need a touch-up?
Yes. A touch-up 6 to 8 weeks after your first session perfects the colour as it settles. It is not included in the treatment price: book it separately, from €80. After that, a refresh every 12 to 18 months keeps it fresh.
Can I have lip filler too?
Yes. Most clients have lip blush first and wait until it has fully healed, usually 4 to 6 weeks, before filler. If you already have filler, we usually wait at least 4 weeks before lip blush.
