A skin booster is a fine injectable treatment, usually based on hyaluronic acid, placed just under the skin to improve hydration, firmness and glow. Unlike filler, it does not add shape or volume. You still look like you, just with skin that looks rested, smoother and more even.

- Do: Tell us about any facial, peel, microneedling or laser in the 2 weeks before your boosters.
- Avoid: Leave 2 weeks between dental work or a vaccine and your boosters.
- Avoid: Pause aspirin, ibuprofen and supplements such as fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo and garlic capsules, if you take them yourself rather than on a doctor's advice.
